What a wonderful Seattle morning Sunrisers. It was an honor to have several guest attendees as we celebrated our club’s 13th birthday!
Our club president, Paula, introduced us with a warm heart and reminded us of the camaraderie our club brings. Like you said Paula, our club is fantabulous. Today’s meeting was led by our VP of Public Relations, Steven. He was assisted with our Timer – Vivi and Grammarian – Bill. Our word of the day was anniversary. Many of our attendees used the word of the day so it was hard to keep up – bravo to everyone!
Steven led our meeting with confidence and joyful table topics. Each attendee had an opportunity to introduce themself with on-the-spot questions. Our topics ranged from “advice to new members” to “is a burrito a sandwich?”. If you’re thinking a burrito is a sandwich, Lara’s got a pretty convincing argument.
The Sunrisers have had and will continuously have special members. Today’s meeting celebrated our growth and how each member’s contribution has impacted another. We appreciate all the previous members that attended our celebration, we hope to see you again.
Our next meeting is Saturday, February 20th at 7:45 AM. Weihu will be a first-time Toastmaster. See you then!
